E-man's birthday fun

As mentioned in previous post,
Elijah celebrated his 2nd birthday last weekend!

it was fun to have Brandon and Bruce out to celebrate with us!

birthdays are good excuses for birthday bbq's...
and birthday buddies.

E-man got thoroughly SPOILED with trucks, and cars, and vehicles galore!

Mommy's a little biased - but this is one cute little 2 y.o. :)

Lace 'em up boys....it's time to run!

On Saturday, Uncle Bruce and Bubba had their debut run
at a local 5k run/1-mile kids run...

The excitement was high early in the morning at the Baldry house.

we even saw Ms. Lorrie and Tiffany and their friend Jenny there too.

Elijah was geared up and ready to cheer!Hannah....not a big fan of the early morning
(especially because she wasn't able to join in on the participation)

After a little warm-upand some pre-race posing (for Mommy's benefit)

we headed to the starting line - ALL SMILES

(even Hannah starting warming up to the event)

the boys impressed us with their energetic finish!

Our birthday "baby"

Today is our sweet Elijah's birthday!

Now that he is 2 Mommy needs to stop referring him to as "her baby"...
He is a gentle spirit,
offers frequent sweet smiles and hugs/kisses...
he LOVES any and all vehicles
(hence the dump truck birthday cake).

Fjosne Farewell weekend....

This past weekend we were spoiled with God's blessings!

The weekend started out with some water-fun...




Poor Mindy, she seemed to take the brunt of
the target practice....

as much fun as Lucy and Elijah tried to have
with the "big" kids in the water,
the snack table was really where it was at for them!

Elijah got a fun early-birthday surprise -

We truly had endless sunshine this weekend...
not captured on film, we had 18-mile bike rides and
first-of-the-summer-pool-time,
along with backyard fun...

Last weekend with good friends living a reasonable distance away =

sadness...tears....sadness

(and a whole lot of thankfulness that they were placed in our lives,
and in the midwest over the past two years)
