Mommy's Day - Part II

Mommy was so excited to get pictures posted,
that she just now realized that she left 1/2 of the pics out

So...here is the 2nd half of our Mother's day pics!

Despite Papa's love for the game of golf,
he gladly put golf on the back-burner
to get some one-on-one time with his buddy, Elijah!

I have to warn all my faithful blog-checking friends/family;
mommy is on a huge picture taking kick
now that the weather is warming up!

So, get ready.... as we cruise

into summer ;)

Mommy's Day Weekend

"Mommy's day" started out a little bittersweet,
as we said our goodbyes to our good friends
before they headed back to MN.

we have been super spoiled with how often we have
gotten to get together the past 2 years,
and feel incredibly blessed for their time in the midwest,
but feel sad of their upcoming move to never-never-land :(

special, special friends!

After our goodbyes, we headed to church,
and then back to Noni and Papa's house
for a unbelievably great day!

Filled with gobs and gobs of sunshine...
and when there is sunshine, it's hard not to have smiles!


along with some backyard patio time....

and some outdoor exploration....

and cousin time...

This weekend Mommy and Mindy woke up
very early and headed to K-town

for a half marathon they've been training for...

we made it just in time to see them starting off...

and saw them again at mile 4...

we had a little time to kill/stroll the streets

and enjoy a little of the unexpected sunshine that came our way

then off to the finish line to cheer on Mommy and Mindy.

before we left, had a little fun playing on the rocks down by the lake.
