Today was a beautiful sunny day - filled with lots of fun and hard work. Mommy and daddy are getting the house ready for guests this weekend, and I was a BIG helper today. So... Mommy called some of my friends to come over for a playdate.... THANK YOU MOMMY!
It was nearly impossible for mommy to get all three of us looking and smiling - so she'll take this picture with at least all smiles :-)
My friends were very tolerant of me, as I dominated the square footage of the pool as well as was a bit bully-ish with my splashing....thanks friends for being so easy-going!
Hannah was a trooper...she didn't whine and fuss b/c she didn't have any of her girls over - insteady she just lounged around -And watched us be loud and rambuntious! She kept looking at mommy with this "are-they-for-real" expression.

scattered entries

Ok, so... I have to start out by apologizing for my mommy...the next handful of blog entries might not be exactly in order. It's been busy and she's having a hard time keeping everything straight :-) Sometimes she even calls me Hannah!!! Do I look like a girl?
She's waiting to get some good pics from friends/family that also had cameras in door county, so she'll add them to my blog as they come. (Thanks Auntie Sharon for your pics...we'll add them when we get some of the other water photos :-)
But, for now...here are a few pics from before we left for door county! Mommy, daddy, Noni, Papa, Auntie Sharon, Uncle Wes and Grandma Ruth (Drew's grandma) took Hannah, Drew, and me to the County Fair.

power shopper
All mommy has to do is mention the word "shopping" and "store" and I jump up and down with excitement. Mom's pretty sure it's because I'm enamored with the plethora of food there. But, what I really love is to just spend time with mommy.
We stopped at a grocery store on the way home from door county and they had things all figured out...they had a shopping cart for me too!

Door County 2008
Mommy and daddy were starting to feel a little reluctant to travel yet again... as we have spent a lot of time in the car traveling these past few months, BUT.... it proved to be well worth it!

We spent nearly two hours hiking the Eagle Trail in Penninsula State Park (beautiful!)

And, at the end of the day, even though we were tired, we were STILL smiling!

On the way home we stopped to stretch and eat in Port Washington - and even found a slide or two that Drew and I could expend some energy on!

The "Big Rig" Gig
Last night our neighboring town held an "end of summer days" carnival (I'm NOT about to say it's the end of summer, but....go with it :-)
In a park they had lined up all kinds of rigs - firetrucks, ambulances, snow plows, excavators, army trucks, semi-trucks, ETC... for the kids to climb on/in and play.

If you've been taking note as you scroll this blog site...daddy is almost as many pics as I am:-) I think fun was had by all! Andrew, next year you're coming with me!

Hannah's partying with the ladies...
Mommy, Noni, and Auntie travelled to my cousin's baby shower this weekend, and Hannah got to go too. Her great Aunties loved getting acquainted with her....

Despite Hannah's severe aversion for any woman (besides mommy and a select few), even let cousin Courtney hold her...

mommy and daddy's week of celebration
Last week was one big party at our house. Mommy had her big birthday first.....then it was a 5-year anniversary celebration (which, by the way, is A LOT harder than saying happy birthday)...and then it was daddy's birthday. As a result, I have become very skilled at saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY".... infact, when mommy and daddy came back from their celebration weekend in Chicago,
where they got to see my good friend and her mommy/daddy (who spoiled them rotten!)

If you look closely in the next few blog entries....I'll show off the great "gear" they brought for me from Chicago... I was so excited I exclaimed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH!"
