two months - too cute

Has it really been two months since mommy and daddy brought Hannah into this world? I can't believe it! My favorite thing to do with her right now is get really close and up in her face and say "HI-eeeeeeeeeeeeee" over and over again :-) (and still give kisses, of course). But, this entry isn't about me - it's about my sister turning 2 months old (yesterday). Mommy took oodles and oodles of pics, so here is the "narrowed down" version :-)

All spiffed up....

This weekend I spent the night at Noni and Papa's house... this is me getting all spiffed up and ready for church after taking a bath (FAVORITE past-time).

After church we got to spend more time with GiGi and GG... they have a way of making me giggle (and I have a way of showing off for them). Hannah also performed, trying to smile and cue for them... nothing on cue yet though, but it shouldn't be long.

Drew came over too, he had big smiles when he saw me! Mommy and Auntie have no idea what they're in for when we get a little older. Noni captured on video a glimpse into the future, both in the crib jumping and playing...(but we don't have it on our computer to share with you). Here's a pic of my cousin...

Peaceful Slumber

Hannah is just shy of two months old now (incredible!) and these pictures pretty sum up our life right now... working on sleep! Working on naps, working on night time sleeping, working on dealing with nose and chest congestion too ;-(

There's just something about sleeping babies that is so peaceful.... or maybe it's me living vicariously through Hannah, since I envy that she gets to nap! :-)

bathing beauty

Daddy - I've got news for you.... this girl is going to be a SPA girl! Hannah just loves her bath, maybe even more than Noah (which is hard to believe... ) at least more than he did at this age. She just lounges back in the sink and "soaks it all in".

Squeaky clean...and a little hair fro is always the result of a good bath. Thanks for these sweet cords Grandma Bev!

Special Visitor

This weekend we had a special visitor.... "B" as I like to call him :-) We had a sleep-over even. Guess he really wanted to see us (and meet Hannah for the first time). She really likes "B" - so content in his arms.

dancing with the stars

One of the things I learned this week was how to tackle (and give zerberts).... which my cousins thought was pretty fun (Mommy's just hoping it doesn't start appearing at inappropriate times - i.e. daycare)

Collection of Christmas

Mommy can't leave out just some other great photos of the week in MT, so you'll find them below. Thanks for sharing with us our Christmas memories. Do I really have to wait 365 days til next Christmas! (At least I don't have to wait that long to see my cousins again - that's even better)

This much fun is just exhausting!

Mommy doesn't know how to get the videos on the blog, so when daddy gets a chance, he'll have to post a few videos to share with you as well.

Christmas maham

Presents.... here are some fun photos of me on Christmas Eve learning the "art of present opening" from the best of them!

not only did I get spoiled rotten with presents, but I also got to play with all my cousins presents too (thanks Bubba and Avery for sharing!)

and fun sharing mine with everybody too! (my favorite was playing inside my new tent... I even convinced Mommy and Daddy to come inside.

Christmas morning Santa brought me two presents....

a shake and crash car (very cool)

and some new books (I LOVE books)

THANKS SANTA

MT hospitality

Ok, so nobody told me how much I was missing out on by having all these great cousins in Montana! I had an unbelievable week of fun, giggles, high-energy play with all my cousins. Not to mention all the love and hugs and snuggles I got as well. We got to introduce my sister to them all too and they just LOVED her. Most common phrases of the week:

1. "Can I hold her"?
2. "Can I sit next to Noah?"
3. "She's so cute"

Here's some proof of the love we recieved from everybody! (and boy oh boy did I LOVE it :-)

Journies Mercies...

As to not overwhelm our faithful readers/viewers, I will try to break up these blog entries - we have a lot to share from the past week! Last Friday we geared up to heat to MT for Christmas! Let me preface this blog entry by saying that mommy and daddy have been saying "this may be our last flight ever" in preparation for this trip - anticipating the travels in airplanes with 2 seats and 4 people.
So, last Friday we packed up the car, bundled up, unloaded at the airport and got in line. That's as far as we got :-) Our flight was CANCELLED! After much effort by the airline agent we were booked out the next day (on a different airlines) from a different city...but we were still going! So we invaded Auntie Teresa and Uncle John John and stayed overnight with them and got to the airport the next morning at 5:15 AM (EARLY!)
Upon our arrival we were greeted with LINES of people (which we foolishly thought we'd avoid leaving so early in the morning, on one of the busiest travel days of the year). Panic set in - we're not going to make it. But, quickly God's angels were at work and an airline worker told us to step right up to the Agent because we had a paper ticket.... this was the first of our Christmas blessings. Not only did we get help (fairly quickly) we also found out we would be flying in FIRST CLASS! As we boarded the plane, anticipating to sit separately, a kind soul switched seats with mommy and we got to sit in the FRONT ROW (extra leg room)... and as we were taking off I looked up at daddy and gave him the "I'm so sleepy eyes" and snuggled in for the REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT!

(as did Hannah)

(Mommy had to ask the nice flight lady to take a picture as proof of this unbelievable "luck")

Do we dare say "relatively stress free travels?" (stay-tuned for episodes on our return flight)

I woke up on descent, and had fun looking out the window, playing with my buddy Boz, and flirting with the flight attendants.

Thank you Jesus for safe flights and happy kiddos!

Hannah is one month old!

My little sister isn't as little anymore...she's already one whole month old! I'm starting to get more used to her being the center of mommy's attention at times during the day (i.e. nursing), but still really love the times Noni comes to play with me too. Hannah loves to have her here too...

Yesterday morning we took a little time to just "lounge around" - what is mommy talking about, having to chase me around.... do I look high maintenance?

(don't be fooled - I'm still a handful, but most the time mommy loves my charm)
