The above picture pretty much depicts Hannah's role in our house right now..... in the shadows of Noah's every move!
She has really deserving of the "most improved shoveler" in our family this winter.
pushing her weight here (literally)
Eman isn't quite for the cold weather, but he sure loves to join in on the bath-night fun.... wanting to be right in the action
I (Noah) continue to entertain us through these lingering winter days.... here is a personal modelling session of Hannah's new spring outfit mommy got this week.
But what mommy loves best is that no matter what the activity (dress up, shoveling, or basketball)
It's been a huge weekend in the Baldry house, as we have been doing our potty-training-weekend with Hannah.... Daddy and I (Noah) skipped town for the weekend to spend some quality boys time together, while Mommy (and Noni/Elijah) methodically cheered Hannah on! so here she is, starting out the morning sitting tall and proud, as she just threw away her diapers and got to pick out her big girl underwear for the day (or more like hour :)
Part of mommy's regimine is to stay side-by-side, in-step with this little trainee. So they did LOTS of things together...
like laundry (a.k.a. "hide and seek")
vacuuming....
and of course lots and lots of "dolly-time".
Mommy thought it'd be good to "practice with distraction", so some friends came over to play and encourage Hannah along her journey....
then the moment finally came to test her out in "the real world".... grocery shopping at Woodman's.
she was excited to get all dolled up in her V-day gear
(if you look closely, you'll see her hands decorated with "tatoos" - her badges of honor)
Finally, we we were all re-united and sat down to celebrate and share a Valentine's Dinner together.
Hannah, we are ALL very proud of you! Welcome to the big-girl world!
Here are some pics that capture how we've been passing the time here in Wisconsin as we wait out these winter months....
Here is a typical morning before I go to school. Just hangin' out waiting for our wonderful neighbor, that gives me a ride with my best bud, Casey. this particular day was show in tell... so I was geared up and ready to go! perhaps a little too excited, as I insisted on waiting outside in the driveway for them...
Usually, while I'm away at school, it affords mommy some time to catch up on laundry and other things, while E-man naps and Hannah "helps". Here she is helping with the laundry.
What do you think of her fashion sense? (Those are mommy's socks she's modeling!)
Then, in the afternoon, when we're all home and anxious for daddy to come home for work, we find ourselves indulging in messy projects (good way to pass the time Mommy says)
it's remarkable how they make this washable paint these days! Otherwise I don't think we'd be allowed to paint any sooner than we are going to be allowed to date! :)
Speaking of "dating", Mommy wanted to include these pics of me as I was getting ready to attend my first birthday party for a cute little girl in my class.
Mommy kept saying I looked so "sharp" and had this pathetic look of "oh-my-little-boy-is-growing-up" on her face.
