All good things come to an end....

Well, the marathon of celebration is coming to an end!
My 3rd birthday has been a smash!

Mommy and daddy are a little worried about birthday detox...
but it's hard to not become addicted to all this attention!

Here are some of the highlights of the past week and a half.

(this one should have been added to the previous post...." Mr. Animation")

My all-time favorite birthday "treat" is this brand new guitar!
I play it day and night...
night and day...
ALL DAY!

I seranade mommy in the shower in the wee hours of the morning...

I bring it to school to accompany my classmates as they sing happy birthday to me...

and I sing Hannah a night-time lullaby (a.k.a. ABCs)

Thanks EVERYONE for a fabulous 3rd birthday!

Expressions

Expressions of gratitude!

Thanks GG for my dollie-gear! She's becoming quite my little playmate.... I carry her with my 50% of the day.

Expressions of instruction...
Expressions of eagerness....

Expressions of anticipation...

Expressions of loving "bye-bye"s...

We NEVER run out of expressions in our household....
just not always the easiest to capture on camera!
Noah is a pro and Hannah is an under-study of expressions!

cousins

What better playmates than cousins?

We've had a lot of opportunity lately to play and bond....

And now that the weather is getting nicer and nicer,
we are going to have LOTS of chances to play together.

see you soon Drew?

Sunny Days in April

We decided to venture out to the park on Friday when it was sunny and beautiful! Mommy was brave and joined our neighbor, Jackie, in taking four of us to the park!

Hannah discovered her love for the slide...

As long as mommy was close-by

She and Carter were a good duo.... they're going to grow up being good friends!

Peyton was our buddy for the day too! Thanks for coming to play with us!!!

Jackie came prepared and brought bubbles, which is always a fun thing to do! Here we are chasing away!

Here I am, in full stride...

The stairs were definitely the most popular attraction....

And then the end of the morning came and things started to fall apart a little bit. Trying to keep four of us corralled together can sometimes be seemingly impossible!
Here's Peyton and I deciding to state a PROTEST to come back to the park area.

All in all....great morning! Thanks Ms. Jackie for joining us and helping mommy keep us "contained"! It is no small task! Can we do it again sometime soon?

Our April Adventures...

We headed to Montana last weekend to celebrate Easter with Mimi and Papa and the gang...
Mommy didn't do the best job capturing pictures this time....something about not having enough energy with this baby in her tummy business (excuses....excuses). But, we still managed to capture some of the fun festivities.

Here we are on the way out, at the Mlps airport. I asked - "can I ride it? or is it just decoration?"

Lots of fun playtime with cousins.... including play kitchens,
and Uncles/Aunties

showing our sweet side....

and our rockin' side...

and sunshine and playdates with daddy's high school friends... so here we are - "the juniors".

I know parks are really fun and all, and that I got to play with friends I don't see much...
but I was sure missin' my bike back at Mimi and Papa's house and spent most of the time poubting b/c I wanted to go riding (i just learned how to pedal a bike and was LOVIN it....give me a break, I'm only "almost three", can you blame a kid for developing a new love?)

I even got to celebrate my upcoming birthday with everybody. Auntie Darcee threw a fabulous celebration with this sweet Lightening McQueen cake!

and here we are at the end of our travel day....
tired,
exhausted,
and ready to go home!

What a trip! Hard to comprehend all the fun we had..... wish we could do it all again next week!
I miss everybody already!
