Fair Days

What is better to a 3 y.o. than a trip the local county fairs?

Animals....

tractors...

rides...

food...

and games...

as you may have noticed...these were only outings for us big boys. Mommy didn't think chasing Hannah and carrying Elijah around the fair would be quite as enjoyable...so it was just something special us "big kids" got to do! I have a lot of fun with cousin Drew, including a fun sleepover we had this summer too.

This weekend the Fjosne duo, Chris and Mindy, came to visit us.
Boy, were they up for a busy-bodied weekend!

(Above: I just had to get my little monster-guy in this pic....)

There were lots of smiles this weekend...
(along with a few meltdowns as well...sorry Chris and Mindy)

Even Elijah was flashing the grins!
(Fjosne is one pretty funny looking dude :-)

Hannah and I couldn't get enough of Mindy....
which equated into "can I go get Mindy up"
starting at 6:00 most mornings!
Thankfully (for them) Mommy and Daddy held us off
until at least 7am most mornings
(that's sleeping in, right?)

She doesn't look too upset with us! :-)

Elijah was sleeping during our first group pic (on Sat nite)....
so I insisted (with mommy backing me up)
to take another one on Sun morning.
Besides, I was really into the little tripod thing-a-ma-jig
and the automatic timer gig...
"that's pretty cool".

Thanks Chris and Mindy
for keeping Mommy and Daddy sane this weekend
and for being such great friends.

We are so so so excited to see you lots
now that you are in the midwest!

beach fun

My cousins visited from MT a few weeks ago....
and we had lots and lots of water fun.
Mommy misplaced her camera for the 2nd-half of their trip,
so here are some pics that capture the 1st-half.

We went to cousin Holly/Joy/Tim's for some beach and boating fun!

Both girls impressed us with their
adventurist excitement for waterskiing!
Way to go Megan and Maycee!

Noni, Auntie Chris, Heidi and Drew met us there too...
you can never have too much family to splash and have fun with
(or too many adults to keep an eye on all us rugrats)

We also went to Noah's ark and our local pool that week.
I think we took full advantage of our swimsuits that week!
It's been an adjustment since they've been gone...
can't wait til the next time we see them in MT!
