Saturday at the playground

This past weekend was super! We actually spent it around Fort Atkinson. First, we had Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, and mommy was the team captain so we were there a lot on Friday and Saturday. Part of the activities included an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast....did I take advantage of that! They also had yummy treats too (this is a lemonade smoothie that Teresa's sharing with me...

Our tent was nice and shaded so we spent a lot of time in there when we weren't walking around the track...

and we even remembered to pack my monkey share - it's getting put to good use! I mastered getting in and out this weekend (maybe not the best posture when all said and done)....

Then.... later on Saturday mommy and daddy took me to a park. A little climber's dream!
I got to go in/out of tunnels ...

And I LOVE the thrill of the slide! I could have done it again, and again, and again...

We finished out the day with a good bouncing on daddy and a good story-book (one of my FAVORITE pasttimes right now)

Thanks mommy and daddy!

chicago weekend

Last weekend we visited our friends in Chicago.... they are getting ready to have a little baby of their own! Even though I was going through "scheduling-overload" (still recovering from our MT travels just a few days before), it was still great to see them...(and to be fair, I was cutting two more teeth on the bottom too).

Daddy and Uncle Ty played some tennis while Auntie Erika and mommy chased me around.
This picture made the blog not so much because I'm doing anything real entertaining, but thought daddy's hustle (in the background) is worth noting :-)

Mommy and Auntie Erika also took me to the little playground to swing and slide while the boys finished their tennis match.... mommy was very gentle with me -

But it wasn't until Daddy and Uncle Ty came over that we really got wild! (I like to live a little on the wild side... makes mommy nervous (just sometimes)...

Thanks for a great weekend friends! Can't wait to meet that precious little girl soon! She's going to be sooooo lucky!

Our Montana Trip -2007

ok, how do I even begin to share all the fun moments of my trip back to Montana to see cousins, and auntie's/uncles and papas/grandma and friends.... I'll do my best telling the story.

The last time I was in Montana I had no idea what fun the future had in store... I was just beginning to explore my world. But this trip.... I was able to keep up with my cousins, learn lots from them and even teach them some of my sign language.

I got to sit up at the counter with the big kids this time (ok, I had a little bit of a "boost" underneath me, but still....)

I even tried to clean up after myself when I was all done (full time job actually, mommy and daddy helped a lot....grandma too!)

The girls even had me playing with dolls!

Brandon, what are they doing to us??? :-)

The girls took good care of me - Megan always made me belly-laugh, and Maycee didn't let me get too far from her :-)

Uncle Bruce even took us to the pool by his apartments so we could get relief from the 100' days!

Not only that, we also went to baseball games,

(way to go #41 - they won all 4 games!)

a wedding reception,

and had a surprise birthday party for daddy and three of his friends!

Overall, just the best-est trip ever! Enjoy the rest of the pics.
(if you can imagine, these were only mommy and my favorites.... there were TONS more!)

Thanks everybody for an awesome trip! Can't wait 'til Christmas!

squeaky clean

Daddy has been teaching me about hygeine. Every morning we help each other with our sparkling smile....

I'm not always this good at let them get at 'em, but this was a good day.

Daddy needs some help too,

so I make sure he doesn't miss any...

Plus, his toothbrush is bigger than mine.

It's electric....

In the past two weeks we have a major transformation of our basement. Uncle John John's crew came in pounded a bunch of "sticks" in our basement and left lots of fun mazes for me to play with and go through.

Daddy showed me how to use the hammer on the board...
(this is me asking "please" very nicelySo he let me help.

Then Papa and Uncle Steve came and hooked up all the "snake" looking wires that make the lights come on and off.... way to go team!
(Bridger wasn't really helping, she just got in the picture). We aren't allowed to walk down there very much because mommy and daddy say it's too dangerous for us.

swim lessons

Swim lessons in June, in Wisconsin can be iffy. We only made 3 of the 6 days because of chilly weather, some rain, and friends from out of town visiting....

Mommy took me on the last day, and they let us
explore and practice our
skills.

Then before we left, mommy took me down the big slide 3 times! I giggled the whole way up the stairs and all the way down - ZOOM! Daddy couldn't make it this time because he was working hard on the basement with Papa and Uncle Steve.

My first zoo trip

Noni and Papa took me to the zoo for the very first time! I got to see the monkeys, giraffes,

and LIONS!
It wore me right out - I crashed in the car on the way home.
