better late than never
I know this is a little out of order, but my mommy
lost her camera for a while and these pictures were missing from the bunch. But, all is well now, and she wanted to show everybody some pictures from our December wedding for Adam and Audrey.
Auntie Sharon showed me some dance moves....
And Papa does what he does best....
he acts silly and makes me giggle, lots. To bring you back up to speed - I am working on two new teeth (my top too) and I'm sure my mommy and daddy will be taking lots of snapshots to try and capture the new arrivals for you.....soon to come :-)

New's year 2006/2007
Mommy and daddy took me on a little
road trip up north this weekend to Uncle Wesley's family cabin. It was an 8 month-old's dream...I got to play with my baby cousin and my friends.
Jackson always is so nice to me and plays with me and teaches me big-boy kinds of stuff (here he is teaching me my colors).
We also gave our parents a concert...
Drew was too young to play, but he was a good listener (and sleeper - didn't even bother him a bit). Mommy and daddy put us to bed and spent the rest of the night laughing really hard with everybody and playin' games. No fair....

Christmas Day, 2006
Christmas day was one I wish I would always be able to remember....
I woke up in my crib Christmas morning and this guy they call Santa had come to my house (I'm not really comprehending that all yet), and then later that day my noni and papa came to visit with great grandma and grandpa. But first, we visited a very special auntie of mine....she is my great, great aunt - isn't that the greatest?
One of the things I liked to play with the most was my new band set that I got from my auntie and uncle. I can see how this is
going to provide lots and lots of entertainment in the future. My mommy and daddy have watched me turn from an amateur army-crawler to a almost-efficient crawler over the past week.
(here's my great, great aunt I was talking about)

Chester's Christmas Cheer
Chester and I have a special bond...
I can tell him anything and he sits there... "all ears".
Mommy thinks we look cute in our outfits and took lots and lots of pictures this morning.
So she could share them all with you!

On the Move
I feel like I have a whole new world
that was just introduced to me. I used to think that things just came to me, but now I realize I can pretty much get just about anywhere I want to. Mom and dad are learning....
That I see opportunities that they
didn't even realize existed.
Along with this new-found freedom
is also a lot of frustration, as I get myself in places that I just don't know how to escape. Naptimes are also more challenging... it's hard for me to want to put my head down and close my eyes and rest (like mommy says I should) because I can move all around my crib now. Fun times!

My Christmas tree weekend
This weekend we kicked off the Christmas season. My mommy's friend came to stay with us and she helped us transform our house into a magical, twinkling lights, music-filled house. First, we put all the decorations around the house, then we went and cut down our very own tree (it's a tough job finding the "perfect one".... I now understand the challenge Papa Tom). Auntie Jess and my mommy decorated while daddy played and read to me. My mommy included some more pictures of our weekend....enjoy!

My First Thanksgiving
My Auntie Teresa bought me a special sweater and matching hat to wear out to Montana for my first ever Thanksgiving. That plane ride stuff is great! It's like a napper's heaven...I even got to sit on my mommy's lap for both my naps and cuddle with her all the way there.
Grandma and Papa gave all of us these outfits so we could wear them in our cousin picture. My outfit was just like Brandon's. I love my cousins. They played with me and sang to me....
My cousin Megan read me books and her sister,
Maycee, is a good helper when it comes to clean-up duty (burp rag, diaper wipes, etc....)
Auntie Darcee, Uncle Brett, and Uncle
Bruce loved on me lots too. I sure do miss them already. When I was there, I got to swim in a big pool for the first time (okay, so technically I guess I wasn't reallly swimming).

This weekend I had some of my
little-people and big-grown-up friends visit me this weekend. JG is such a good, gentle friend...
and WG is really 6 months older than me, but I'm not that far off in the weight category :-) (bring on those solids - I love'em!)
We also went to our Holiday parade where we saw lots of lights and nice people handing out "yummy bites" (that my daddy's friend used me to get a bag full :-) They deserve it though....they flew a little plane from North Dakota to come and see me....pretty special, huh?

Football is something my daddy and I like to spend time talking about. He's always talking about "the option"....I just drool and smile, because I don't really understand it all quite yet. This is a special outfit though, because daddy wore #3 in highschool when he was a quarterback...and that's just what my outfit says -pretty neat.

It's what's in the heart that matters.....
You can probably guess who is typing this blog entry for me, just by the title....today could be a potentially ugly day in my household. The Packers are playing the Vikings, so mommy and daddy are battling against each other for bragging rights...and I'm caught in the middle! Papa Tom, just so you know - I had no choice in the matter about my outfit in these pictures - but it's what's in my heart that really matters :-)
