On September 1st Noah ventured into a new little world,
that exists < 1/2-mile from home...
that exists < 1/2-mile from home...
KINDERGARTEN.
Despite the days/week to follow,
Noah's first day was full of excitement
(a little trepidation, but still...smiles prevailed)
unlike his normal pace in life (super fast)
he has found a new tendency of lagging behind just a little.

Embracing his new role -
a Purdy Panther...
inside he settled right into his little desk

and started drawing an absolutely adorable picture,
recounting our summer road trip to MT.

Here's a picture his mommy is going to treasure
for many, many years to come!
for many, many years to come!
(and also the smile I have held on to over the past weekas he has been overwhelmed
with anxiety and tearful separations)
Day by day, step by step, the unknowns of Kindergarten
become more well-known;
friendships are being born;
and a little courage is built on.
Thank you to all our friends/family that have been
so encouraging, supportive, and patient
as we have navigated through this transition.
