Weekend at the lake

My blogging skills are a couple of weeks behind....
so I am going to, without overloading you, start catching up on

sharing with all of you our early-mid August happenings.

Late July we headed up north to spend a weekend at the lake.

This is where mommy used to hang out frequently
with her best friend, during her college years
(ah, those were the days she says :)


Jess, Nick and Tyler were our hosts
(along with Steve and Jeanie who so graciously opened up their home to us!)

I will give you ONE guess as to where we spent most of our time!

Yep, THE LAKE!

Endless fun really -

followed by a Wild tubing ride....
(ok, so really not all that wild)

only brief mid-day meltdown...

with a quick recovery once she realized
the little fishies weren't going to eat her :)

bringing my the childhood memories of water racing!

We did manage to come inside and enjoy a little respite,
great food,

and fun play with baby Ty.

Thank you Young/Ballin gang for your hospitality,

endless patience, and endless lake fun.
The kids were WIPED :)
