VBS showdown...

This year we underwent a new summer adventure....

Goldrush Days at Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Despite a few hesitant moments at departure,
Noah and Hannah
had a great time taking part
in this year's brilliantly organized VBS at Faith.

The last day they gave us parents a little display
of what they had learned (through song).

Although I didn't capture any video of this,
here are a few pictures of the kiddos during their performances.


Noah was just excited (although his expression falls short here)
to wear his new cowboy hat he got from Auntie Teresa
for his birthday this year.

Now, I wasn't sure how Hannah would do,
as history has it....
she is clinically bashful when it comes to being
in front of an audience.

Noah was their to watch too...
But to our delight -
is that a smile we see????

and a little participation even???

Yes, that's right!
Hannah stood up and performed, and smiled,

and HAD FUN!
(despite the room full of people)

It's just the beginning of
the joy of watching them
learn, and grow,
and perform a little bit here and there.
