zoo days

Last Friday our preschool took a little field trip
to the Madison Henry Vilas Zoo!

Hannah and I were jacked up for our very first bus ride!

while Elijah and Mommy trailed behind in the car...
for all the cold, overcast days we have had over the past 2 months,
today were blessed with beautiful, beautiful sunshine :)

This was Elijah's first trip to the zoo...
and he was loving it!

Mommy was loving the excuse for daddy to join us for a family day!

Mommy had a hard time catching me for a picture...

as I spent the first 45 minutes running,


no sprinting


everywhere; not knowing where to start first!

We had lots of friends to tour the zoo along with....

along with a few furry creatures :)

Hannah's favorite/captivated time was watching the monkeys



lions...tigers...
and bears.

Mommy had a little fun of her own...

(mommy and daddy had quite the giggles looking through these...
it will be fun to go back in 10-12 years and show Hannah and Wes these pics!)

Thanks to the sunshine, we were able to extend our stay

and enjoy an outside picnic...

good food - with good friends,
