Pumpkin parties!

Some friends of ours very kindly invited us over

for our first of a few fall celebrations! a pumpkin carving fest :)

Hannah was more into the doll/stroller (shocker!)
that she politely begged for the minute she entered their home.


There were many pumpkin options -
including carving...
including scooping and gooping!

I managed to "slip" (a.k.a. sneak)
inside for a few tasty treats :)

BUSTED,
as I re-entered the outdoor activities.

sweet Miss Brenna joined the fun
(and helped mommy keep tabs on everyone)

she came in very handy,
as mommy's aversion to anything "goopey" kicked into gear.
Brenna peeled the pumpkin insides from mommy's hair
(that had been so generously "shaken"
by all the little hands dumping into the goop bin! :)

(note to self: don't set up right next to the "Discard here" bin! HA!

Elijah didn't have much interest in all the orange furry,
but did have fun trading off with Brant

and "poking fun" at the rest of us :)

We have been blessed with great friends!
