August birthday celebrations

Yesterday was Noni's birthday....

but we used it as a great excuse to get together
to celebrate all our August birthdays!

so, another opportunity to get together and play with Drew!


which, naturally, involved
playing "super-heroes"

(basically putting swim goggles on and
running around the room claiming to save the world!)


and enjoying some yummy homemade carrot cake
(by the hands of Auntie Sharon)

E-man has mastered the art of signing, "please"

(hand on chest)

and has found it to be very effective in getting more ice cream :)

which in the end, makes for a very happy little boy!
