the great outdoors!

Oh where do we begin to tell the story....

of our great camping debut.

Well, I can tell you this - LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

Learned a lot....

about building tents

learning the trade of cookin' hot dogs over the grill!

the art of making hot-dogs and hobo-dinners over the campfire...


Hannah and I were never without something to explore, something new to try....

A direct quote from the weekend -
"Mom, do you know what the bestest part is??
That Mindy is here".

During the day we cooled off at the beach -




played in the sand...



and explored by boat...
Eman struggled to get "settled in",
as he was fighting a low-fever and just not feeling 100%.

SO, had some moments like this...



but after a little rest...more moments like this -




He even got his "own" tent!

which he really never travelled far from...
the dirt and cold ground kinda threw him for a loop.
Kept him contained anyway :)

Finally, nighttime arrived and we got to learn all about
the art of S'more making!

Here's Hannah...checkin' in on E-man one more time..

relatively quiet night; even one of sleeping in!

Next morning everyone was up and ready

to start up the campfire for more food to be eaten!

Pancakes and sausages..yum yum

We will definitely be doing THAT again!!!!
