As to not overwhelm our faithful readers/viewers, I will try to break up these blog entries - we have a lot to share from the past week! Last Friday we geared up to heat to MT for Christmas! Let me preface this blog entry by saying that mommy and daddy have been saying "this may be our last flight ever" in preparation for this trip - anticipating the travels in airplanes with 2 seats and 4 people.
So, last Friday we packed up the car, bundled up, unloaded at the airport and got in line. That's as far as we got :-) Our flight was CANCELLED! After much effort by the airline agent we were booked out the next day (on a different airlines) from a different city...but we were still going! So we invaded Auntie Teresa and Uncle John John and stayed overnight with them and got to the airport the next morning at 5:15 AM (EARLY!)
Upon our arrival we were greeted with LINES of people (which we foolishly thought we'd avoid leaving so early in the morning, on one of the busiest travel days of the year). Panic set in - we're not going to make it. But, quickly God's angels were at work and an airline worker told us to step right up to the Agent because we had a paper ticket.... this was the first of our Christmas blessings. Not only did we get help (fairly quickly) we also found out we would be flying in FIRST CLASS! As we boarded the plane, anticipating to sit separately, a kind soul switched seats with mommy and we got to sit in the FRONT ROW (extra leg room)... and as we were taking off I looked up at daddy and gave him the "I'm so sleepy eyes" and snuggled in for the REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT!
I woke up on descent, and had fun looking out the window, playing with my buddy Boz, and flirting with the flight attendants.
